We know how hard it is to return to work after a long weekend or holiday so we’ve put together some tips for making the transition back to work as easy as possible…
Whether you have a full email inbox or a desk covered in notes or files, the first thing to do is to prioritise. Start a to-do list starting with the most important jobs to do. It’s a good idea to avoid taking on any new tasks until you are on top of your list, stay in control and plan the rest of your week.
If your holiday involved plenty of lay-ins getting back to work can be a struggle. Once you're back behind your desk, try to get back into your regular work-day routine as quick as possible!
So you’ve made it to lunchtime or better still, the end of the day. Its time to reward yourself for your efforts! Pop out for lunch or treat yourself to a take away on the way home – do something to reward yourself for getting back into the routine and beating the to-do list, well done, you deserve it!
