Laminate furniture is easy to care for and maintain, which is one of its greatest benefits.
Unlike veneer and solid wood, laminate doesn’t scratch or stain easily, but you should still be careful and clean your laminate furniture properly so that it lasts for as long as possible.
By following some simple cleaning regimes, you can keep your furniture looking just like new…
To remove the build up of dust we recommend either using an oil-free wood furniture spray, a damp cloth or a micro-fibre cleaning cloth.
To remove pen, mug stains or other marks from your office furniture, try a mild detergent and warm water. Once washed, remember to dry your furniture thoroughly to avoid water marks and a build up of detergent.
For more troublesome stains, like grease we recommend a mixture of hot water and baking soda. By mixing baking soda and enough water to form a thick paste you can then apply directly to the stain. Leave for a few minutes with a wet paper towel over the paste to keep it moist and then using a soft bristle brush rub the paste into the stain, keep in mind baking soda is a mild abrasive so you will need to be gentle and use a circular motion to ensure no damage occurs. Wipe clean afterwards with warm water ensuring you remove all of the paste and dry.
