“Our library was not sufficient in size and also was looking very drab in design and fixtures. We were lucky enough to have a class base next door and decided to remove the dividing wall and create a large open library which could be used for different teaching elements.

We decided to use MACOI for the furniture and shelving units, we wanted a supplier who we could work with to think slightly out of the box and get away from the typical library spaces that are quite dark and plain in colours.

We wanted the library to flow when you walked around and not to have tall bookshelves so it felt enclosed.

This was a difficult task as we still needed to house a large supply of books. Macoi allowed us to do this and express our splash of colour as we could choose any fabric choices and designs on shelving and furniture.

We have been very happy with the service we have received from MACOI Ltd and would be looking to use them again on further projects in the School”.
