MACOI Ltd are delighted to have partnered with Rockstar for their office refurbishment project in Lincolnshire which included the delivery, supply and installation of office, reception, breakout, kitchen and dining room furniture.
Rockstar Lincoln is a dedicated quality assurance and localisation studio, located in the East Midlands of England, with head offices based in New York. Rockstar where slightly apprehensive about the scale of this project, but from the initial meeting with Steve Robinson, our area account manager they soon decided to team with MACOI for a complete project management service, which included site surveys, showroom visits, design plans and mood boards which allowed Rockstar to visually see and feel the fabric, wood and metal finishes proposed.
A free of charge “Sit well at Work” seminar was held at the end of the project by our qualified DSE assessor as one of our many added value services.
“ I approached MACOI because I had previously used them (Account Manager Steve Robinson) to provide office supplies whilst working for Nottinghamshire Police Force. Steve had always proven to be reliable and could provide supplies quickly at competitive prices. He had also managed various small to medium scale office fit outs for me and some large projects for some of my colleagues.
MACOI helped me by not only providing all items requested but also spent a lot of time planning the fit out in great detail. Steve organised a visit to many London showrooms to give us an idea of what types of furniture and fabric options were available to us. This combined with the detailed plans provided, gave us a real feel for what we could expect the new office to look like.
The result was impressive. MACOI managed the entire office fit out to ensure that our company was able stick to deadlines and this enabled us to move into our new premises on the target date with no issues experienced along the way. All furniture was delivered on schedule and risk assessments were carried out by MACOI to ensure that all their staff members were aware of how they were expected to act whilst on site.
One thing I liked was the on-site presence of Steve. He was on site regularly to ensure that things went to plan. He and his team were happy to work with other contractors which allowed the office move project as a whole to run to schedule. If the job ever looked like it was falling behind schedule, Steve arranged additional labour to ensure the project would be completed on time.
I would recommend MACOI to an individual/ company that requires a professional approach to any medium/ large scale office based project work. They are happy to take on the responsibility of any project and feedback their ideas and options in a timely manner. All in all, more than impressed. A job very well done.”
