Having worked in partnership with North Hertfordshire District Council on a number of projects, MACOI were delighted to be involved in the relocation and refurbishment of the local authority offices in Letchworth Garden City.
Under the Central Buying Consortium (CBC) framework, MACOI was awarded the contract to project manage the relocation and refurbishment of offices that accommodate approximately 300 team members.
Because the key to any successful office relocation is forward thinking and careful preparation, MACOI provided a full consultancy service with a detailed staff migration programme that included 6 phased weekend installation schedules to ensure no disruption to the day-to-day running of the council occurred.
Post-move support followed each weekend move to ensure a complete and satisfactory service was accomplished.
As part of the refurbishment programme, MACOI integrated existing furniture with new, to provide fresh and innovative workspaces including offices, a reception welcome area, and meeting rooms. Additionally, a bespoke ‘meet and greet’ pod was designed and installed to create an individual space in a busy well-used area.
