Bristol Central Library Mobile Shelving

The new mobile shelving unit provided a total of seven kilometres of shelving space to Bristol Central Library which was delighted with the handling of the project from start to finish.

Over a period of two years, Andrew Ashall of MACOI Ltd and our manufacturing partners attended many meetings and site visits at Bristol Central Library, providing detailed layout designs, technical drawings and competitive pricing proposals which met the Library's specification for a high volume mobile shelving solution for archived books and materials.

Prior to installation, Andrew liaised with Bristol Central Library regarding floor loadings and provided safety recommendations. The project was given a four-week window for installation which was completed one week ahead of schedule.
