The Suffolk Chamber needed to increase the existing capacity without compromising the working environment. To accomplish the brief we went for a new style of desking which enabled us to increase the capacity by 6 persons whilst maintaining a nice light and comfortable working environment and creating a more welcoming reception area.
The project was carried out over a weekend to avoid any disruption to the day-to-day business of the chamber and its team. Our fitters went in on the Friday afternoon and removed the old furniture; during Friday evening and on Saturday the decorators went in and redecorated the areas, followed by the cleaners on Sunday who cleaned everything ready for us to fit the new furniture on Monday.
Our fitters then delivered and assembled the new furniture working closely with the IT team to ensure everything was in the right place and all staff were able to get up and running with the minimum of disruption. We have received great feedback from the Chamber and the team are pleased with their new improved working environment.
